The funeral of
Franco Frattini, who died on 24 December at the age of 65,
will be held today, at 11.30, in the Basilica of the Holy Apostles, in Piazza Santi Apostoli in Rome.
They will be celebrated by Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re. The president of the Senate, Ignazio La Russa, will participate in the funeral.

Yesterday the funeral home was set up at Palazzo Spada, seat of the Council of State of which he was president.
