Apartment program at a discount continues:
The Ministry of Construction and Housing and the Israel Land Authority announce that registration for the fourth lottery for an apartment at a discount will open tomorrow morning, Wednesday 28.12, and will close on Sunday 8.1.2023 at 23:59.
About 6,000 new apartments will be drawn for eligible participants in the fourth lottery, in the following 13 cities: Jerusalem, Ashdod, Haifa, Yehud-Monson, Ramla, Kadima Zoran, Ofakim, Sderot, Nahariya, Nof HaGalil, Elkana, Karni Shomron, Emmanuel.

Those eligible to register for the upcoming lottery, similar to the previous one, are all homeless people with a valid eligibility certificate.
Those who meet the criteria are allowed to register for 3 cities, and for all the lotteries in these cities.
It will also be emphasized that the date of registration for the lottery, which will be open to the eligible public for eight days, is not important.
In order to register for the lotteries, a certificate of eligibility must be issued through the following 3 options: online through the program website, through online forms on the companies' websites or through the service centers of the registration companies for housing assistance.
It should be noted that the issuance of the eligibility certificate will be open until Sunday 1.1.2023 - after that, it will not be possible to issue certificates until the registration for the lottery is closed.
In the lotteries that took place last year, over 21,000 households won the opportunity to purchase an apartment at a discount, as part of various programs for affordable housing.
In the previous lottery of a discounted apartment program and the third one at the hair salon, which took place last October, 3,317 young and other eligible couples, out of about 57 thousand registrants, won an apartment at a discount in 11 different settlements throughout the country.

The Minister of Construction and Housing, Ze'ev Elkin:
"After a two-year hiatus, we have brought back the lotteries of the Ministry of Construction and Housing, and during the year 2022, almost 30,000 families will receive the ability to buy an apartment at a significant discount at the expense of the state. Next year, following the plans that were launched in recent months, the Ministry of Construction And housing will succeed in producing another 45,000 apartments at a discount, this is assuming that the new Minister of Construction and Housing will not stop this. In fact, this year and in 2023, about 75,000 young couples, out of a total of about 120,000 participants in the lotteries, will be able to buy an apartment at a discount."

The upcoming lottery is a direct continuation of all the steps and moves promoted by the ministry in recent times. These are figures that have not been seen for many years in the real estate industry, the promotion of tenders in long-term rental housing , removing barriers in front of local authorities and signing umbrella agreements with them. I know that there is still a lot of work, but I can safely say that the processes we have done and promoted in the recent period will already bear fruit in the near future."
