Let's start with the most important point, car insurance.
As every year, there is a new type class classification for cars.

, around 13 million drivers are generally affected.
Although around 4.8 million drivers will benefit from better type classes, higher classifications will apply to around 8.1 million from 2023.
In addition, there are also new regional classes in risk assessment.
Around 10.1 million drivers have to accept increases;

Changes for motorists: New color for the general inspection
Motorists who use the
pink sticker on the road have to go to the general inspection in the coming year.
A look at the number plate reveals in which month the car is due.
The number "23" is in the 12 o'clock position of the pink plaque.
From May next year, the so-called on-board fuel consumption monitoring data will also be read out during the general inspection.

Consumers who are considering buying an electric vehicle should know that subsidies for electric cars will fall drastically in the coming year.
Finance Minister Christian Lindner had already announced in the middle of the year that the purchase bonus for electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids would be abolished.
