She is a mother of two children, an actress, a talk show presenter and, according to her own statements, gets along well on her own: Nevertheless, Drew Barrymore has been looking for a partner again for some time.
And had to go through painful experiences.
"It's unbelievable how painful ghosting is," the 47-year-old told the US magazine "People".
“For anyone out there who has been ghosted and feels like a bushfire went through their body, I can understand that.
It's strange that a man can behave like that."
The term "ghosting" describes the phenomenon that people with whom you have met or spoken to a few times disappear into thin air like a ghost - all calls and messages suddenly go unanswered.
According to psychologists, "ghosts" are often afraid of direct confrontation or the commitment that a partnership brings with it.
Barrymore also said she finds it difficult to fit dates into your schedule when you only have so few nights off to yourself.

She's also been on dates that she regretted from the start, Barrymore said.

Her celebrity status doesn't make things any easier, Barrymore said.
"People don't often ask me out," the actress said.
She is also no longer interested in one-night stands.
Barrymore has been married three times.
Her two children are from the now also divorced marriage to the art dealer Will Kopelman.
