(ANSA) - ROME, DECEMBER 28 - Once again this year Russian President Vladimir Putin will wish his best wishes in his New Year's speech around midnight on December 31st.
He told reporters the ;;;; Russian presidential spokesman Dmitri Peskov, as reported by Ria Novosti.
"We never say how and when the President's New Year's greetings are recorded, I can only say that the President will traditionally address the Russians at midnight and congratulate them on the upcoming New Year. Each New Year's speech of the President, of course, bears the imprint of past year and contains the main messages for the year that has begun. This time it will be the same," Peskov said.
By tradition, speeches by the head of the Russian state begin on December 31 at 23.55, recall the
Russian news agency.
