This bread requires minimal work.
He just needs you to let him swell and grow inside the pot with which he will enter the oven at the end of the process.
The result is an impressive loaf with a gorgeous color and a sweet sweet potato flavor that keeps its freshness and softness for a long time.
I like to add a little ground chili to the dough, which together with the sweet potato creates an exact combination of flavors, but it is not mandatory.
Please note: at the end of baking, it is important to take the loaf out of the pot and cool it on a wire rack (yes, like the one in the oven), so that steam does not form at the bottom.

Ingredients
3 cups flour (420 grams)
1 whole wheat flour (140 grams)
1 tablespoon dry yeast
1 tablespoon of salt
1 sweet potato
½ cup lukewarm (360 ml)

How do you make a recipe for a perfect sweet potato bread in a pot?
1 Cook the sweet potato with the skin intact until soft.
Cool slightly, peel and mash.
2 Mix the sweet potato puree with the flours, yeast and water in a bowl, initial mixing.
Add the salt and the crushed chili and continue to mix until you get a uniform and sticky dough (no need to knead).
3 Leave the dough to rise in a bowl covered with plastic wrap for at least 10 hours at room temperature.
4 Flour a work surface well, carefully transfer the sticky dough to it and form it into a ball.

5 Line a Jahanon pot or a regular pot with a lid, which is suitable for baking in the oven (diameter 24/26 cm), with baking paper. Transfer the dough into it and cover with the lid. Let it rise for about two hours.
6 During the last half hour of rising, heat the oven to 250 degrees.
7 Sprinkle a little flour on the surface of the dough and make slits with a sharp knife (the slits on the surface of the dough will prevent cracking during baking).
8 Put in a covered oven for 15 minutes baking at high heat, lower the heat to 180 degrees and bake for another 20 minutes.
9 Remove the lid and bake for 6-10 minutes until browned.
10 Take the bread out of the pot, transfer to a wire rack, cool completely and only then slice.
