A postwoman left a call for help on a DHL note in Berlin.

And the story now warms thousands of hearts.

Berlin - Mistakes happen.

Even those customers of parcel services who suffer from it again and again have to grudgingly accept this.

Because especially under stress, wrong decisions are sometimes made by the messengers.

Or in the worst case even garden gnomes beheaded.

A postwoman in Lichterfelde-Süd in Berlin made an unusual mistake.

Provided the note is genuine, which was published on the Instagram page "Notes of Berlin".

The handwritten words on it explain the story.

"I have my ring with me in the Bfk.

slipped," writes the author, whereby the abbreviation probably stands for "letterbox".

And further: "Would like to pick him up tomorrow.

Best regards postwoman.”

The postman leaves a call for help on a DHL note: the ring slipped into the mailbox

She garnished the friendly call for help via DHL note with a smiley.

And apparently she got her ring back before Christmas.

"Understood!

We're here," reply the recipients, who involuntarily received the ring in the mailbox.

For the "3.

Floor” also has a smiley.

And the third photo (you can see the others by swiping/clicking on the arrows) then also shows the DHL note together with the ring.

It remains unclear whether the images on the Instagram page were leaked by the messenger or by the post recipients.

Like the DHL messenger who once left an important clue to cat owners, the little story inspires many.

There were around 7,600 likes in the first 21 hours.

"Finally a meaningful notification card," says the comments.

"Did a doctor write that down?" Another user wonders, looking at the hard-to-read writing.

"The world needs more of this": Message on DHL note ensures a happy ending

"The world needs more of this," enthuses a user of the story and the Instagram page that she carries on.

And a user rips a gag: "3.

OG, DHL never goes up there,” he writes with a tearful laughing emoji.

Neighbors who accepted a DPD package caused a scandal.
