Israel: Netanyahu government gains Knesset trust

(ANSA) - TEL AVIV, DECEMBER 29 - The new government of Benyamin Netanyahu, the 37th in the history of Israel, has won the trust of the Knesset.

63 of the 120 deputies voted in favor, while 54 voted against. This was announced by the president of the Knesset, Amir Ohana.


    Outgoing premier Yair Lapid is preparing to hand over the duties to Netanyahu by today.
