(ANSA) - ROME, DECEMBER 29 - Russian air defenses have destroyed an unidentified object in the Engels district of the Saratov region, 500 kilometers from the border with Ukraine.
The regional governor Roman Busargin declares it on his Telegram channel, as reported by the Tass.
"The air defenses were working on the territory of the district of Engels. An unidentified object was destroyed. Emergency services were sent to the scene. There is no threat to the safety of the residents," said the governor.
In the past month, Engels Air Force Base has been hit twice by drones.
