British singer Samantha Fox struggled at times with her fame at a young age.
After her first hits in 1986, when she was 20 years old, she was no longer able to shop in the supermarket without being recognized, the 56-year-old said in an interview with "Stern".
"That was very difficult."
In particular, the constant observation by the press photographers obviously burdened Fox.
Paparazzi followed her every step and rented boats and helicopters to take pictures of her, the singer said.

Test only successful »incognito«
It was only when she tried the exam again "incognito" in a remote place in Wales that she was successful, the singer said.
Fox first came to prominence when she modeled shirtless for British tabloid The Sun in 1983, aged 16.
She then became one of Britain's most successful pin-up girls.
From 1986 she also landed in the German charts with songs like "Touch Me (I Want Your Body)" and "Nothing's Gonna Stop Me Now".
In recent years, Fox has participated in the British version of the reality TV show "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here" and "Big Brother".
She has been married to Norwegian Linda Olsen since 2022.
