The Avatar tidal wave capsized nearly 6 million spectators in France

Two weeks after its theatrical release, the second installment of James Cameron's saga has risen to second place among the most viewed films of the year, behind Top Gun - Maverick.

as the biggest hit of the year.

In total, over the week, James Cameron's science fiction blockbuster attracted 3 million viewers in theaters, up 10% compared to the first week - when it already had the best start of the year.

The film, lasting 3h12, thus represented two out of three admissions to cinemas.
