Revaluation of the minimum wage
The first change to note is the revaluation of the minimum wage, which will increase by 1.8% on January 1, 2023. The legal minimum remuneration will thus amount to 1,709.28 euros gross monthly, as announced by the Minister of Public Accounts , Gabriel Attal, December 16.
This increase corresponds to the strict application of the automatic revaluation, calculated according to two criteria: the inflation observed for the 20% of households with the lowest incomes and half of the gain in purchasing power of the basic hourly wage for workers and employees ( SHBOE).
