The year 2022: the year of Hadera

The year 2022 is a turning point when it comes to the realization of urban renewal plans in Hadera.

During it, urban renewal plans were approved, which increase the amount of housing units that are expected to be built in the city in the coming years.

The responsibility for the success of the intensive promotion of the latest construction permits in the city center and the additional plans for urban renewal are attributed to the Hadera Municipality's Engineering Department and the Department of Urban Renewal in the Hadera Economic Company, who together in recent years have been leading accelerated urban renewal processes throughout the city and have been able to connect in an ideal way between all the factors involved in the process, the residents of the old neighborhoods and the entrepreneurs who have won in tenders for the construction of these complexes.

The expectation is that in 10 years the face of the city will change completely.

The city center, which today is lined with old and old 2-3 story buildings, will become a living urban center that combines residence, employment and commerce in an intensive 20-30 story building, creating bustling streets for people who live, work and shop in the city center.

During the past year, as published, Hadera together with 11 other local authorities signed an agreement with the Ministry of Housing and the Urban Renewal Authority to receive assistance in financing the establishment of urban infrastructure in urban renewal projects to the extent of 440 million shekels, with the city receiving funding of 20-30 thousand shekels for each More than any new housing unit.

This move will help the city in containing the housing units that are expected to be approved and built in the coming years.
