Another podium for Federico Pellegrino in the Nordic ski Tour de Ski.
After the second place in the Val Mustair sprint, yesterday, today the blue finished third after the photo finish of the 10 kilometers pursuit with classic technique, still in Switzerland.
The race was won by the Norwegian Johannes Klaebo, in 25'55'';
the athlete from Valle d'Aosta reached the finish line paired with the other Norwegian, Paal Golberg, and the clock set a delay of 10''02 for both of them.
The photo finish established that Pellegrino's foot was a few millimeters back.
"I'm proud of the Tour de Ski I'm doing, and today I pulled off a super race".
Federico Pellegrino expresses all his satisfaction after the third place in the 10 km pursuit, in Val Mustair.
The blue Nordic ski champion was awarded the last step of the podium by the photo finish ("a bit sorry, but that's okay"), at the end of a tough race, dominated by Klaebo.
"At 1800 metres, energy management was fundamental - his words - and today I did it excellently".
