(ANSA) - FLORENCE, 01 JAN - The Uffizi Galleries set an all-time record for the period from 23 December 2022 to 1 January: from before Christmas Eve 2022 to New Year's Day, as explained by the museum, visitors of the museum complex were 105,583 in total.
As regards January 1, the first Sunday of free opening according to the provisions of the specific initiative of the Ministry of Culture, there were 7,624 visitors to the Uffizi Gallery while 7,584 to the Boboli Gardens.
The Uffizi Gallery and the Boboli Gardens will also be open tomorrow, from 8.15am, for the special opening on Monday 2nd January.
