A young woman who claims to be a vegetarian revealed something online that her friends would not like to hear - she claimed that all vegetarians cheat and eat meat from time to time.

The TikTok user from Toronto, who writes under the username @Baligrilledcheese, caused a real stir with a viral clip that garnered over 4 million views in a week.

"If you ask me, I'll lie and tell you, 'No. I don't eat meat, never, never, never. I love animals,'" she admitted in the 27-second clip while eating pizza topped with prosciutto in front of the camera.

"I eat this pizza once every few months, and I'm telling you - every other vegetarian cheats from time to time. And if they tell you they never cheat, they're lying to you."

Many of her followers claimed that she is not really a vegetarian, even though she claims to be one for seven years.

Others explained that the choice not to eat meat is often an ethical and moral choice, and not necessarily for reasons of one diet or another.

However, there were other vegetarians who admitted that what she was saying was true, and that they too occasionally cheat, "I don't think all vegetarians do it, but there's definitely a large part of the community that does," admitted one, adding: "I cheat with bacon too time".
