Meet Switzerland and Alsace.
With this delicious tarte flambée recipe you have the best of both worlds.
Tarte flambée
from Alsace is no longer unknown here.
The dish was a hit at the 2022 Christmas markets!
Therefore we are of the opinion: You can combine this with something just as good from the Christmas market.
I agree.
Raclette
from Switzerland.
Since France and Switzerland share a national border anyway, this type of tarte flambée is just the right combination of the kitchens of both nations.
That's how it's done:
You need these ingredients:
Cream:
200 g crème fraîche
0.5 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
1 pinch nutmeg
Tarte:
1 pack (à 260 g) Tarte flambée dough on the refrigerated shelf
200 g potatoes, pre-cooked and sliced
70 g onions, in strips (equivalent to a small onion)
200 grams of raclette cheese
Chives of your choice, finely chopped
The preparation is very easy:
Preheat the oven to 200°C for a circulating air
For the cream: Season the crème fraîche
with pepper, salt and nutmeg and then stir.
For the tarte flambée:
Unroll the tarte flambée dough on a baking sheet.
Spread dabs of the cream on the dough and spread them out so that everything is covered except for the edges.
Roughly spread the potato slices on the tarte flambee and sprinkle the onions and raclette cheese over the top.
Bake the tarte flambée at 200 °C for 20 minutes until a slightly golden crust forms.
Place the Flammkuchen on a wooden board and portion into small rectangles.
Et voila!
Good Appetite.
