A month after being released from prison, Boris Becker will return as Eurosport adviser from the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam tournament of the season, the sports TV channel announced on Tuesday.
"I am delighted that Boris Becker is returning to our Eurosport team at the Australian Open. Since 2017, Boris has been an integral part of the tennis broadcasts on Eurosport," said Jochen Gundel, one of Warner's German branch managers.

Sentenced in late April by the English court to two and a half years' imprisonment for tax fraud, the former number 1 in the world was released on December 15 after eight months of detention and was expelled from the United Kingdom.
His lawyer explained that Becker, 55, had "served his sentence" and "is not subject to any criminal restrictions in Germany".
