(ANSA) - ROME, 03 JAN - The three people arrested yesterday for the raid on the Senate are free again.
The judge of the Rome court has validated the arrests of the activists Davide Nensi, Alessandro Sulis and LauraParacini, ordering their release.
The trial for the three, accused of aggravated damage, has been set for May 12.
The prosecutor had requested the measure of the residence obligation for the three suspects.
The investigations were carried out by Digos and Carabinieri.
During the hearing, the three claimed what they had done yesterday morning: the facade of Palazzo Madama daubed with paint.
"After seeing the Marmolada disaster, I fear for our future. I joined Ultima Generazione because it proposes a change - declared one of those arrested -, in particular to stop gas emissions and focus on renewable energies".
According to what is learned, the arrested girl had also participated in the demonstration action at Palazzo Bonaparte against a painting by Van Gogh. The three had also been reported for the roadblocks on the Grande Raccordo Anulare put in place in recent weeks.
