(ANSA) - MILAN, 03 JAN - The perpetrator of the stabbing of a woman at Rome's Termini station on 31 December is in the Carabinieri barracks in Milan.
According to an initial reconstruction, the man (Aleksander MateuszChomiak, a 25-year-old Pole) was recognized and blocked by a deputy brigadier of the Milan Carabinieri Radiomobile Nucleus, free from service, in the Central Station, in the Milanese capital.
Further investigations are underway at the Caserma Montebello, headquarters of the Carabinieri Radiomobile Nucleus in Milan, where the arrested homeless person is currently located.
