This article remembers all those stars and creative minds in the film and series world who passed away in 2022.

But they will not be forgotten in the coming year or in the future.

Bob Saget - January 9th

Full House star Bob Saget has died in an Orlando, Florida hotel room at the age of 65.

ABC's America's Funniest Home Videos was interrupted in January with breaking news about Saget's death.

Saget himself moderated the format from 1990 to 1997.

Series junkies know and love Saget above all for his prime role as widowed father Danny Tanner in the ABC sitcom "Full House", which ran from 1987 to 1995 and was continued from 2016 to 2020 under the new title "Fuller House" on Netflix .

Public expressions of mourning have already come from the then series stars Dave Coulier aka Joey Gladstone, Candace Cameron Bure aka DJ Tanner and John Stamos, who played Jesse Katsopolis.

Saget and Stamos also co-starred in the 2015-2016 FOX comedy Grandfathered, in which Stamos starred while Saget made a few guest appearances.

Saget also played the title role on The WB's family sitcom, Raising Dad, from 2001-2002.

Here he also played a widower whose daughters were then occupied by Kat Dennings ("2 Broke Girls") and Brie Larson ("Captain Marvel").

This was later followed by his voice acting role on "How I Met Your Father," starring Saget as an older Ted telling his kids about how he once met their now-dead mother.

Bob Saget is survived by a wife he married in 2018 and three children from a previous marriage.
