(ANSA) - ROME, 03 JAN - Russian Foreign Ministers Sergei Lavrov and Israeli Minister Eli Cohen today had a telephone conversation during which Lavrov said that Moscow is ready for "joint work to strengthen bilateral cooperation".
This was reported by the Russian agencies.
The conversation also covered the situation in Ukraine.
Speaking on the phone with his Israeli counterpart Eli Cohen, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said he was willing to help restart the peace process with Palestine.
