(ANSA) - VATICAN CITY, 03 JAN - Around 25,000 faithful who this morning, until 12, paid homage to Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, whose body is on display for the second day inside St. Peter's Basilica.
The data, released by the Vatican Gendarmerie, are in line with those of yesterday when, at 2 pm - therefore two hours later than today's bulletin - the pilgrims numbered around 40,000.
