The three people arrested yesterday for the raid on the Senate are free again.

The judge for the direct procedures of the Rome court validated the arrests of the activists Davide Nensi, Alessandro Sulis and Laura Paracini, arranging their release.

The trial for the three, accused of aggravated damage, has been set for May 12.

The prosecutor had requested the measure of the residence obligation for the three suspects.

The investigations were carried out by Digos and Carabinieri.

The Senate will appear as a civil party, for damages, in the proceeding against the environmental activists protagonists of yesterday's blitz against the facade of Palazzo Madama

.

The president of the Senate, Ignazio La Russa, announced his intention during the Presidency Council convened ad hoc in the afternoon.

This was reported by the vice president of the Senate, Maurizio Gasparri at the end of the meeting.

"It is a pity that some senators did not share this orientation - added Gasparri - which instead prevailed by a very large majority, saying that we need to listen to these guys. Let's say that to some friends of the 5 Star holidaymaker they have thus shown that for them the buildings that matter are the hotels of Cortina more than a 15th century palace like Palazzo Madama".

During the hearing, the three claimed what they had done yesterday morning: the facade of Palazzo Madama daubed with paint.

"After seeing the Marmolada disaster, I'm afraid for our future. I joined Ultima Generazione because it proposes a change - declared one of those arrested -, in particular to stop gas emissions and focus on renewable energies".

According to what is learned, the arrested girl had also participated in the demonstration action at Palazzo Bonaparte against a painting by Van Gogh. The three had also been reported for the roadblocks on the Grande Raccordo Anulare implemented in recent weeks.
