Gary McKee literally spent his year running.
On Saturday December 31, this 53-year-old Briton completed a course of 365 marathons in 365 days, with the aim of raising funds for the fight against cancer.
Result: 1.48 million euros collected for the associations and an unequaled sporting performance.
Gary has already cycled across Brazil, climbed Kilimanjaro, rowed Channel-equivalent distances for charitable causes.
"My body was prepared for such an effort, but the important thing is above all to prepare psychologically," says the man who in 2017 had already run 100 marathons in 100 days, then 110 in 110 days in 2021.
