Young Israeli stabbed in Rome, the attacker arrested was on a train to Brescia

Aleksander Mateusz Chomiak, the Polish clochard accused of the attempted murder of a 24-year-old girl, an Israeli citizen, was arrested by two off-duty carabinieri (husband and wife).

The man stabbed her on the evening of December 31 in Termini.

He was on a train bound for Brescia

His identification was achieved thanks to the analysis of the cameras present at Termini.

Now he is in the Carabinieri barracks in Milan.

The man was recognized and blocked by a Carabiniere from Milan, free from service.

He is currently being charged with the crime of

attempted murder without the aggravating circumstance of racial hatred

The young man hit the victim with three blows in rapid succession, a short distance from the automatic ticket machines.

The man would be homeless

His identification was achieved thanks to the analysis of the security cameras present both inside and outside the railway yard.

It is sought after throughout the city, checks also along the Tiber, in the areas close to the river often frequented by homeless people as makeshift homes.
