First there is the shock, in front of this black film on a white background - an omnipresent and dangerous snow - between thriller and western, in which Chereh, an Afghan migrant, on the run in the mountains on the Franco-Italian border, meets Samuel (Denis Ménochet), recently widowed, who came to sleep off his depression in his chalet.
This silent, little concerned, takes the full brunt of this woman who calls for help, in the face of a nature and especially in the face of a threatening neighborhood.
