(ANSA) - MOSCOW, 04 JAN - Italy cannot be a guarantor of the peace process in Ukraine due to its partisan position.
This was stated by the spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, quoted by the Tass agency.
"Obviously - the spokeswoman said in answer to a question - given the partisan position taken by Italy, we cannot see it as an honest mediator or a possible guarantor of the peace process".
