It is "socially dangerous" and could strike again Aleksander Mateusz Chomiak, the 24-year-old homeless man of Polish origin arrested yesterday in Milan on charges of attempted murder for stabbing New Year's Eve at Rome's Termini Station , an Israeli tourist of her age.

This is essentially what the Milanese prosecutor Enrico Pavone claimed in the request for validation of the detention and pre-trial detention in prison for the young man, sent to the investigating judge Natalia Imarisio.

The clochard will be interrogated by the judge in the afternoon.

According to what emerges from the investigators' investigations, Chomiak is a sort of 'ghost' who has been wandering around Italy for at least 8 months and it is conceivable that he may have mental problems.

The young man said nothing after being blocked and does not speak Italian.

At the moment his was an act without motivation.

The three knives seized yesterday from the young man don't seem compatible with the one used to 'hit' the tourist in Rome.

According to the images of the attack, the weapon used would be smaller than those currently in the hands of the investigators: two kitchen knives and a cutter with a 19-centimetre blade, which will in any case be subjected to analyzes to ascertain that there are no traces of victim's blood or DNA.
