(ANSA) - NEW YORK, 04 JAN - Stellantis is betting on the skies and on air taxis.
The company has in fact reached an agreement to produce an electric aerial vehicle developed by Archer Aviation Inc and to provide 150 million dollars of capital to the startup to accelerate production.
Midnight, as the vertical take-off and landing aerial vehicle is called, will be built at a new facility in Covington, Georgia.
The strengthening of the partnership with Archer demonstrates how Stellantis is "pushing the boundaries to offer free and sustainable mobility, from the road to the sky".
