Revealed in 2009 by “a Prophet”, by Jacques Audiard, the actor had received the following year a double César, that of the best actor and that of the best male hope.
Since then, he has toured for Jean-Jacques Annaud (“Black Gold”), Joachim Lafosse (“To lose reason”), Asghar Farhadi (“The Past”), Rebecca Zlotowski (“Grand Central”), Éric Toledano and Olivier Nakache (“Samba”) or Kevin Macdonald (“Designated Guilty”).
He has also distinguished himself in several series, notably "The Eddy" and "The Serpent".
In 2023, we will see him in "Napoleon", by Ridley Scott, alongside Joaquin Phoenix and Vanessa Kirby.
Honorary Caesar awarded to David Fincher
As we revealed at the end of November, the Académie des Césars and Canal +, which will broadcast the ceremony live, unencrypted and exclusively, as every year, have opted for a collegial presentation.
For the first time, there will be no master or mistress of ceremonies.
Actors or duos of actors will follow one another on stage to present three statuettes each.
Among the latter, we will find, according to our information, Jérôme Commandeur, who officiated as master of ceremonies in 2017, and the tandem Ahmed Sylla and Léa Drucker, who recently shared the poster of "Women of the square", by Julien Rambaldi .
Jamel Debbouze and Alex Lutz should also give Caesars.
