Glass, limescale and floor cleaners: There are countless cleaning products on the market.
But most of them don't need it at all, say experts.
A few are enough - and that protects the environment and your wallet.
Entire shelves in the supermarket are filled with cleaning products from a wide variety of brands.
As a consumer, you can be astonished.
In addition, the question quickly arises: what do I really need from it?
Anyone who wants their house or apartment to be sparkling clean often succumbs to the temptation to buy different, sometimes aggressive cleaners for everything.
After all, they have a right to exist, don't they?
Why else should there be various means for glass, bathroom fittings or the toilet?
With the result that the products pile up at home - this is not cheap in the long run.

According to household experts, most available cleaners don't even need it.
Instead, five products are enough to give your own four walls a high gloss finish.
This not only protects the environment, but also your wallet.
1. Universal cleaner
The name says it all: A universal cleaner can be used for many different purposes.
It gently cleans all surfaces, floors, tiles, but also the work surface in the kitchen - i.e. everything that can be washed off.
This does not apply to wood.
Universal cleaners often come as concentrates - so you only have to add a few drops to the cleaning water.
This is economical and still everything gets clean.

2. Scouring milk
Stubborn stains in the bathtub or in the kitchen can hardly be removed with a universal cleaner.
A scouring milk can help here.
Scouring agents consist mainly of softer rock flour and surfactants as well as fragrances.
Limescale and grease deposits can be easily removed by the abrasive effect, i.e. by friction or grinding.

3. Vinegar cleaner
Even if the smell of vinegar cleaners takes some getting used to, they are very effective.
They are used especially in the bathroom and kitchen, where a lot of water gets into fittings and the like.
Particularly stubborn limescale residues can be removed undiluted with vinegar cleaner, for example.
If you want, you can soak the affected area first.
However, be sure to wipe away the stains afterwards with a soft sponge cloth and not with a sponge made of rough material or similar.
That only causes scratches.

4. Dishwashing detergent
As the name suggests, washing-up liquid is mostly used for dirty dishes.
However, it can also be used on surfaces, for example when the work surface is dirty after cooking.
Then simply put some of it on a sponge and wipe it over.
However, streaks can appear after drying, which is why washing-up liquid is not necessarily suitable for shiny surfaces.
5. Toilet cleaner
Universal cleaner is sufficient to clean the toilet seat.
But for persistent deposits in the toilet, such as urine scale or yellow to brown discoloration, you need effective home remedies such as cola or baking soda or a special toilet cleaner.
Apply this to the inside of the toilet bowl and the inner edges.
Let it soak for ten to thirty minutes.
After that, the dirt should be easier to remove with the toilet brush.
