Gasoline: oil down but pump prices still up

Fuel prices continue to rise on the Italian network despite the thud in the prices of refined products, fuel prices at the pump. (HANDLE)


(ANSA) - ROME, 05 JAN - Fuel prices on the Italian network continue to rise despite the thud in the prices of refined products, the prices of fuel at the pump.

This morning we recorded yet another upward movement in the recommended price lists, while the increases recorded yesterday are reflected in the national averages of the prices charged at the pump.


   According to the usual survey by Staffetta Quotidiana, this morning Tamoil increased the recommended prices of petrol by two cents per liter and those of diesel by one cent.


   These are the average prices communicated by the managers to the Ministry of Economic Development's Price Observatory and elaborated by the Staffetta, recorded at 8 yesterday morning on approximately 15,000 plants: self-service petrol at 1.810 euros/litre (+4 thousandths, companies 1.813, white pumps 1.805), diesel at 1.872 euro/litre (+4, companies 1.874, white pumps 1.867).


    Petrol served at 1.949 euros/litre (+3, companies 1.992, white pumps 1.865), diesel at 2.011 euros/litre (+3, companies 2.054, white pumps 1.925).


    LPG served at 0.792 euros/litre (+4, companies 0.803, pompebianche 0.778), methane served at 2.384 euros/kg (-48, companies2.425, white pumps 2.352), LNG 2.532 euros/kg (+43, companies2.559 euro/kg, white pumps 2.513 euro/kg).
