(ANSA) - BEIJING, JAN 07 - As anticipated a few months ago by the Wall Street Journal, Jack Ma has relinquished control of the Chinese giant Ant Group.
The company itself announced it, explaining that it will change its shareholding structure so that its founder no longer has control of the fintech giant.
"No shareholder, alone or with any other party, will have control of Ant Group" following the completion of the adjustment, the company said in a statement.
