The worsening of the weather expected from the early hours of Sunday is confirmed, starting from the northern regions and then extending to most of Italy.
Mattia Gussoni, meteorologist of the website www.iLMeteo.it warns that the first signs of the deterioration will already occur on Saturday 7 when some rains, even moderate ones, will wet Liguria while showers will affect Piedmont, Lombardy and upper Tuscany.
However, the bulk of the bad weather will arrive on Sunday when the rainfall will gradually become more widespread and consistent from the Northwest to the Northeast by evening.
In the Centre, the perturbation will affect the Tyrrhenian regions and Umbria with substantial rainfall only in the evening and during the night.
The disturbed front will be fed, at high altitudes, by cold air of arctic-polar origin and driven by intense Libeccio winds.
In this context, snow will return, even copious, in the Alps starting from 7-900 meters, locally at lower altitudes close to the borders.
The strong winds will blow with gusts of up to 80 km/h, thus swelling the seas which will gradually become rough or very rough.
On Monday, the perturbation will strongly affect the central-southern Tyrrhenian Sea with heavy rains also in the form of storms over Lazio, Campania and northern Tyrrhenian Calabria.
Snow will also arrive on the Apennines starting from 1400 meters.
Latest rains will wet the Northeast resulting strong in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
In the rest of the North the weather will have already improved and will continue to be good in the central Adriatic area.
The effects of the disturbed front will end on Tuesday when the Mistral will arrive impetuous and sweep away all the clouds and also the air pollution, favoring a largely sunny day like never before for more than a month.
Finally, a look at the temperatures that will not undergo substantial variations in both values except for some physiological decreases in the presence of precipitation.
