New CEO for the Ministry of Construction and Housing:
The appointment of Yehuda Morgenstern was confirmed this morning (Sunday) at the cabinet meeting.
Morgenstern, who was the preferred candidate for the new Minister of Construction and Housing, Yitzhak Goldknopf, beat Moshe Rubinstein and Yossi Stern on the way to the position.
Morgenstern, who is also included Be Hasidim Gor - lives in Bnei Brak, married and father of 6 children - has an impressive resume of 13 years of senior management experience, of which 6 years were in the positions of Acting CEO of the Bnei Brak Economic Company, MM CEO and VP of the company, and - 4 more years in the position of CEO at Telam company.
In addition, the new CEO is a graduate of a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and management from the Technion and a master's degree from the University of Haifa. Meet Yehuda Morgenstern
Without core studies, or prior knowledge of English, science or mathematics, Morgenstern entered the Technion preparatory school at the age of 24 - when in the end, a year and a half later, he entered the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management as a full-fledged student.
While studying, Morgenstern managed the ultra-orthodox campus of the Carmel Academic Center in Haifa, and became a success story when he increased the number of students from 70 to 250 within two years.
In addition, he served as a research partner at the Shmuel Na'aman Institute, and among the prominent documents he signed was economic development of the north.
Towards the end of his studies, in 2012, Morgenstern decided to try his hand at business entrepreneurship, and founded the Telam company, which deals with the integration of the ultra-Orthodox population in academia and industry. The Telam company integrated more than 100 ultra-Orthodox students into studies at the Technion, including in the Faculty of Medicine.
As someone who is responsible for urban renewal in the city of Bnei Brak, and manages budgets of hundreds of millions of shekels and hundreds of employees as part of his role as CEO of the Bnei Brak Economic Company - it seems that Yehuda Morgenstern's entry into the
Ministry of Housing and Construction is a natural fit for his way and style of work, which serves as an engine for a policy that integrates all sectors Together.
We wish him success in his new position.
