Childhood memories in one dish.
You surely remember that moment when you visited your grandparents and the best food in the world was served every time?
Even the simplest and simplest dishes are made special with memories here.
The most famous chefs in the world often cook according to this motto and try new versions of well-established classics.
I think that this tender fillet has certainly been served up in one or the other visit to grandma and grandpa.
Therefore, you need to recreate this recipe to satisfy your nostalgic taste buds.
That's how it's done:
You need these ingredients:
400 g pork fillet
2 tbsp cooking oil for frying
70 g onion, in strips (equivalent to a small onion)
300 g leeks, cut into wide strips
150 g mushrooms, sliced
1 tsp salt
0.5 tsp pepper
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
1 pinch nutmeg, grated
200 ml white wine
200 ml cream
8 g chives, finely chopped
The preparation is quick and easy:
Cut the pork fillet into medallions about 2 cm wide.
Preheat a pan with oil, sear the pieces of meat in it and then remove the meat from the pan and let it rest, covered.
Add onions, leeks, and mushrooms to the same pan and sauté salt, pepper, garlic, and nutmeg.
Deglaze with white wine when the onions are translucent.
Add the cream and let it boil.
Add the fillet pieces to the pan and sauce and simmer for another 10 minutes over medium heat so that the meat is nicely cooked through.
Arrange the finished dish on a plate: first the sauce and on top the meat.
Garnish with chives.
Et voilà: Bon appetit!
As a side dish, we recommend buttered rice as in the video, but pasta would be just as good.
