Prince Harry distills his confessions in small touches.
After revelations about his military mission in Afghanistan, the loss of his virginity or even his relationship with his brother, in his memoirs, "The Substitute", to be published on January 10 and of which several extracts have leaked, he spoke of his mother in an interview which will be broadcast this Sunday on the British channel ITV.
In a new trailer for this interview, with presenter Tom Bradby, Diana's youngest son describes the guilt he felt walking past Kensington Palace after the death of his mother, the Princess of Wales.

The Duke of Sussex, who was just 12 when his mother died after a car crash in 1997, said he only cried once after her death, at her funeral.
"Everyone knows where he was and what he was doing when my mother died," he said.

Confident of his "shame", he explains that he was unable to show the slightest emotion in public during the funeral.
“There were 50,000 bouquets of flowers for our mother and we were shaking hands smiling.
And their hands were wet.
We didn't understand why.
It was all the tears that had flowed from their eyes and they had wiped away.

“Not the slightest emotion at this moment”
The prince adds: “Everyone thought they knew our mother.
And the two people dearest to her heart, the two people she loved the most in the world couldn't show the slightest emotion at this moment.

Among the many revelations in his autobiography, Harry recounts how his father told him of his mother's death.
He also explains that years later, he asked a driver to take the Alma tunnel in Paris, where Diana died, to put an end to a “decade of incessant pain.

In this same interview, Prince Harry assures that he hopes to reconnect with his father and his brother, while affirming that the fact of "remaining silent" will not help the situation with his family.
He also refused to commit to coming to the coronation of his own father, King Charles III, scheduled for May.
"Incredibly naive"
In another interview broadcast this Sunday, the first given to American television, Prince Harry returns this time to the media treatment of his relationship with Meghan.
"What Meghan went through was partly similar to what Kate and Camilla went through, in very different circumstances," Harry told Anderson Cooper in an excerpt from the interview published Thursday.
“But you add to that the question of race, and the British press has a field day,” notes the Duke of Sussex who, with hindsight, believes he was “incredibly naive”.
