Nicola Sirkis' group threatened on Saturday to cancel its visit to the Déferlantes festival, initially planned for Céret (Pyrénées-Orientales) then moved for practical reasons to Perpignan (Pyrénées-Orientales), a city managed by the elected National Rally Louis Aliot.
“Yesterday morning, we were faced with the fait accompli, that the Festival Les Déferlantes, where we are scheduled on July 8, moved to Perpignan instead of the site initially planned”, wrote the rock group on Twitter on Saturday.
And to continue: “We expressly ask the management of Les Déferlantes to move this festival to another place, otherwise we will cancel our visit.

"At this stage, we take note of their decision to condition their arrival", simply reacted to L'Indépendant, Fabrice Lorente, co-director of Frontera Production, at the head of this music festival.
"Many of you have told us about certain difficulties encountered during this last edition, in particular travel to and from Céret", had earlier justified the organization to explain the move for this new edition.
In addition to the rock band, Big Flo and Oli, Damso, David Guetta, Lomepal, Louise Attaque or even Shakaponk and Soprano are also part of the program.
Indochine, whose leader, Nicola Sirkis, had already deplored the rise of the extreme right on several occasions in recent years, will he carry out his threat?
