While there are already fixed start dates for some series innovations in 2023, others are still pending.

The most promising formats that will (hopefully) celebrate their premiere this year can be read in part two.

The new series year 2023 also has many new titles from larger franchises to offer, including of course Marvel, "Star Wars" and also "The Walking Dead".

Even from the Amazon success of "The Boys" there is an offshoot that is coming our way.

Otherwise, HBO tries to score with stars like "The Weeknd" and Lily-Rose Depp, while the "Game of Thrones" duo David Benioff and DB Weiss bring a fascinating sci-fi format to the screens on Netflix.

FX also promises a kind of “GoT” for samurai fans.

And then there's an Apple event series from Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks.

With some of the projects that are presented in the second part of this anticipation photo series, it is not yet clear whether the premiere in 2023 will really work.

This time there are no concrete start dates for any of the formats, although in some cases the first preview videos are already available.

Projects with a fixed start date can be found in part one of this series of photos.

The Walking Dead: Dead City

Probably in April, The Walking Dead: Dead City spin-off will take over the torch from the recently ended parent series.

The focus is now on Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan), who move to the former metropolis of New York.

Six episodes are initially planned.

Can the change of scenery revive the zombie franchise of the US cable broadcaster AMC, which has been declared dead several times?

Also starring are Gaius Charles, Jonathan Higginbotham, Mahina Napoleo, Trey Santiago-Hudson and Charlie Solis.

Eli Jorne, who previously worked on Son of Zorn and Wilfred in addition to "TWD", is in charge this time as showrunner.
