Autonomy, Calderoli 'Agreement in Parliament, no blitz'

The Lega parliamentarian and minister for regional affairs and autonomy: 'No blitz'. The Campania governor: 'In Calderoli's draft, a worrying step backwards'. Bonaccini: 'Ready for discussion but sharing of the project with the Regions' (ANSA)


"There is a need for a Government-Regions passage, after which there will be an opinion expressed by Parliament, the final agreement will go to Parliament and will be voted on by Parliament. So there is no leap forward or risk of blitz".

These are the words of Roberto Calderoli, parliamentarian of the League and minister for regional affairs and autonomy, in Agorà Rai Tre, on the methods of approving the agreements on regional autonomy.



"We need to go back to explaining that without a unified line they won't make any progress. On the contrary, we will open a very harsh political war".

Thus the president of the Campania Region Vincenzo De Luca on differentiated autonomy at the 150th anniversary ceremony of the Department of Agriculture of the University of Naples Federico II in the Royal Palace of Portici (Naples).

"Minister Calderoli's draft - he says - represents a worrying step backwards compared to assessments we made just a few days ago. I believe that the Calderoli draft is greatly influenced by the electoral deadline in Lombardy and in other regions".

Thus, on differentiated autonomy, the governor of Emilia Romagna, Stefano Bonaccini, candidate for the secretariat of the Democratic Party, in Avellino.

"We are ready for discussion, however it is not acceptable that we go to the Council of Ministers without sharing the scheme, a project, with the Regions".
