(ANSA) - ROME, 09 JAN - The former Brazilian president, Jair Bolsonaro, was admitted to the AdventHealth Celebration, a hospital outside Orlando, Florida, for severe abdominal pain.
The O Globo portal writes it and the news was later confirmed by his wife on Instagram.
Jair Bolsonaro was hospitalized and "is under observation" for "abdominal problems", wrote his wife Michelle, after the Brazilian media reported on the hospitalization of the former Brazilian president.
Bolsonaro, 67, who left Brazil two days before the end of his mandate on December 31, is still suffering from the after-effects of the knife attack that nearly claimed his life in September 2018, shortly before his election as president of Brazil.
