Child star Adam Rich, best known for his role in 'Eight is Enough', dies at 54

Known for his role and his iconic bowl cut in "Eight is Enough", a series broadcast from 1977, Adam Rich died Saturday at the age of 54, at his residence in Los Angeles.

The series had been broadcast in France from 1985 on TF1 and the actor, then 9 years old, played Nicholas, the youngest son of the siblings living in Sacramento (California).

According to TMZ, the actor was discovered dead at his home by a visiting friend.

According to the people news site, the criminal track would be ruled out but the circumstances of his death remain unknown for the time being.

Known for his bowl cut, which had inspired many parents for their children, Adam Rich had been nicknamed "America's little brother".
