Meet the next star of the theater world Israel today

This is probably the year of Noi Halperin, an actress and singer who started out as a party girl and hasn't left the stage since.

Now she steps into the shoes of Meshi Klinstein as a page in the musical "Zero in Human Relations" at the Beit Lisin Theater, and will soon participate in the musical "Mary Lou" of the National Theater.

"Music and acting have been there since I can remember," she shares.

"I was a girl who performed everywhere - Festigals, Bravo, the Jubilee Bells. I was a music major in high school, I sang in a military band, I went on to Beit Zvi - for a moment I didn't stop to think about the route. It was always clear to me that this was my direction."

About her entry into the new position, she says: "I take in the reactions from the sidelines, and feel that something big is happening here. People treat it as a hack, and I understand that in a certain place it is true. I am very excited, I worked very hard for this."

How does it feel to step into the shoes of such a good singer?

"It's a lot of responsibility. Meshi is very talented, and also does an amazing job there. It's entering after 300 performances into a well-oiled machine."

Another thing that will happen at the end of the month is the play "Mary Lou", which will be staged at the National Theater.

"I play Sigi, Mary Lou's cousin. She is the comedic character, and it's very fun. Tsadi French directs, and this is the first time I work with him. It's an amazing experience. I really like Zvika's music. The man was brilliant, and his songs are The soundtrack that accompanied my life."

Do you manage to stop for a moment and say to yourself "I did it"?

"I remind myself sometimes to look from the side and enjoy the achievements, but in my instinct I am a working animal. Even the question now reminds me that this is something important that I do more."
