(ANSA-AFP) - HONG KONG, JAN 09 - The Hong Kong Stock Exchange opened more than 1% higher today after yesterday's rally on Wall Street fueled by hopes that the Federal Reserve will further slow the pace of interest rate hikes .
The Hang Seng Index rose 1.45% in early trading, adding 304.30 points to 21,295.94.
The Shanghai Composite gained 0.37% to 3,169.37 points, while the Shenzhen Composite gained 0.35% to 2,047.70.
