In the age of peak TV and more and more VoD providers, new series are constantly appearing, but there are also some that will soon have to be said goodbye.

For which series is the end already sealed?

The new series year has arrived and, as is well known, in addition to traditional broadcasters there are more and more VoD providers who will sooner or later operate worldwide or sell their content, such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, Disney+, HBO Max, Peacock and Paramount+, who have an enormous need for content and are therefore producing more and more series.

You can look forward to some new series in 2023, even if you could observe the first breaks and withdrawals in 2022, including others in the direction of Peak TV...

Because series can't run forever, of course, in the following months it's time to say goodbye to beloved companions.

While some of the ending series may have long since passed their zenith and the decided end should only provide a round conclusion, other series do not deserve to be retired from the point of view of their fans.

The list therefore includes series whose end has been announced in the past few months for 2023 (and sometimes beyond) and which will come to the screens with farewell episodes.

The Crown

As early as 2021, the intention was roughly announced to conclude the Netflix series "The Crown" with the sixth season.

Most of the cast from season five is returning, and as always, new faces are joining the cast.

Whether there will be a prequel after that remains to be seen.

Also whether the final round of the Royal Rumble will be broadcast in 2023 or 2024.
