I really like stews in one pot, the ones that gather everyone around the table, make everyone happy and above all can be a complete meal.
As a child, a pot of boiled chicken with cauliflower was one of the pots on our regular weekly family menu.
In honor of winter and the crazy cauliflowers it brings to markets and greengrocers, I thought of making a pot full of childhood memories.
Only this time instead of the chicken, I made wonderful and juicy fried meatballs that are so fun to eat alongside the cauliflower florets.

Ingredients
For meatballs:
500 grams of ground chicken
1 zucchini - finely grated
1 sweet potato - completely softened in the oven
1 large white onion
1 handful of parsley or celery leaves
1 egg
1 tablespoon flour
½ teaspoon turmeric
salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
oil for frying
For the cauliflower and the sauce:
¼ cup oil
1 chopped onion
5-6 garlic cloves, halved
12-15 cherry tomatoes
1 cauliflower
1 tablespoon sweet paprika
1 tablespoon of salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 handful of finely chopped coriander leaves
To submit:
1 handful of finely chopped coriander leaves

Preparation
How do you make fried chicken patties with cauliflower?
1 The
meatballs:
peel the soft sweet potato, mash it into puree and cool it.
Finely chop the leaves and onion in a food processor.
Mix well in a bowl together with the ground chicken and the rest of the meatball ingredients and place, covered, for an hour in the refrigerator.
2 Make meatballs with your hands or with a spoon, fry in shallow oil and transfer to a mesh/strainer.
3 Heat the oven to -180 degrees in turbo mode, so that after cooking the meatballs and cauliflower in the sauce, they will brown.

For the sauce with cauliflower:
in a wide pot suitable for the oven, heat a quarter of a cup of oil.
Add the onion and fry until brown.
Add the garlic, cherry tomatoes and seasoning and mix.
5 Pour water up to half the height of the pot and bring to a boil.
Meanwhile, break the cauliflower into florets and cut each floret in half.
Arrange the cauliflower and the meatballs in the pot and sprinkle coriander on top.
6. Cook the meatballs with the cauliflower for about 30 minutes uncovered at medium heat.
Transfer to the hot oven for another 20 minutes.
Sprinkle with the remaining cilantro and serve.
