You really don't want to be in the place of the person who took this video, documenting the moments of horror experienced by a snowboarder while being swept away in an avalanche.

The New York Post reports that the incident, which happened on Sunday this week, took place on a mountain in the state of Utah in the United States.

Blake Nielson photographed this amazing experience in the Big Cottonwood Canyon area of Salt Lake City.

Later he said that he was caught up in the incident near the summit of Mount Kessler.

"Gusts of wind raged above and below me and knocked me to the ground and 'took me for a ride'."

In the video, which was taken using a camera attached to his helmet, he can be seen cruising down the mountain, and suddenly the avalanche surrounds him.

He was heard shouting to his partner on the walkie-talkie: "Logan, I'm slipping. I'm moving forward, but I'm slipping."

Hard to watch: a passenger refused to straighten his seat on the flight, and was severely beaten. A

flight attendant reveals: "A passenger cooked fish on the plane, one smeared feces on the wall and others had sex"

Rescued by swimming movements

Nilsson managed to overcome the situation and even came out of it unscathed by performing a sort of "swimming motion" with his hands and feet.

In this way, he was swept along for about 100 meters, until he managed to slow down and brake himself, while the snow around him continues to move down the mountain.

According to him, before he and his skiing partner went up the mountain, they checked the stability of the snow in the area and found no hint of a problem.

The wind, however, was more unpredictable than they imagined, he added.

"Respect the wind," he warns.

"Even a slight gust of wind that is 'manageable' can intensify and drag you down the steep terrain."

On the same day and in the same area, two other skiers reported that they too were swept away in an avalanche caused by the strong winds.

Both came out unscathed.

In contrast, in Colorado two snowmobilers were reported to have been caught in a large avalanche nearby and died after being buried under the snow.
