Well, Phillips reversed the usual order of face makeup - makeup is usually applied as a base, followed by giving shape and volume to the face through contouring and highlighting.

In recent days, the technique became viral on Tiktok, and Phillips herself joined the celebration, uploading her first video on the social network yesterday (Monday), which in less than a day gained more than a hundred thousand views, and hundreds of comments.
In the video, Phillips demonstrates the method, and explains: "We actually highlight the bones under the skin using contour and highlights."
In the video, she is seen applying brown liquid contour in all areas that require shading, and light concealer for highlights.
After that, she places the make-up over them with gentle pats, and the result that is obtained managed to surprise us.
The resulting look is definitely fresh, yet the careful shading is visible.

Apparently the secret is in applying the make-up in a relatively delicate layer, and in patting and not in smearing which could make the whole business ugly.
Of course, such makeup requires wet shadows with a liquid material, and not with powders.
After applying the make-up, the shadows can be strengthened with powder, for those who feel they want more emphasis.
