reopens trading and the TTF future on natural gas drops 3.10% to 72 euros.

The European storage, the operators point out, was 83% against a seasonal average of the previous 5 years of 67% in this period of the year, this seems to give sufficient peace of mind even if the atmospheric forecasts show temperatures returning, after a very mild weather, on the seasonal average.

Trading on the Treasury bond market brought the

spread

between the 10-year BTP and the Bund below the 194 points of the previous day, to 193.6 points.

The Italian 10-year yield rose slightly to 4.186%, while the German yield remained stable at 2.22%.

Tokyo stock market closes up (+0.78%)

The Tokyo Stock Exchange concludes the first session of the week with a plus sign, after yesterday's national holiday, with investors anticipating an easing of the US Federal Reserve's monetary tightening following last Friday's US labor market data.

The reference Nikkei index scores an increase of 0.78%, to 26,175.56, adding 200 points.

In terms of exchange rates, the yen strengthened slightly against the dollar, to a value just under 132, while it depreciated against the euro to a level of 141.60.

Shanghai closes at -0.21%, Shenzhen at +0.29%

Contrasted closing for the Chinese stock exchanges: the Shanghai Composite index drops 0.21% and slips to 3,169.51 points, while that of Shenzhen gains 0 .29%, reaching 2,060.44.

Stable start for

gold

prices : the spot contract is at 1,872.71 dollars an ounce, up 0.05%.
